Happy Mountain Flow: 
Movement to music.
Based on an eclectic blend of disciplines such as yoga, qi gong, tai chi, pilates, and free
movement, to stretch and strengthen the body safely and mindfully. Meditation and
relaxation always a focus, practicing being in the moment with awareness on body and
breath, letting go of tension, calming the mind, and having self compassion.

Classes are suitable for all levels of fitness including beginners. A health
questionnaire must be completed before participating.

15 min recorded, guided meditation prior to the start of class.

Geraldine has instructed body/mind exercise classes for adults and children, and has managed the Happy Mountain Yoga Studio in Alstonville, for 20 years. After working in corporate fitness and various fitness centres, a desire to bring the community together through music, movement and mindfulness for the wellbeing of the whole self, led her to create such a space. Geraldine has written songs and produced Cd’s for children, teens and adults including positive affirmations, music for relaxation and songs for a more positive and peaceful world. In 2014 Geraldine worked with psychologist Claudia Valenzuela, creating Therapeutic Cd’s for children and adults with PTSD..the Cd’s were based on affirmations specific to the client, who usually took part in the production of the song, along with their carers. An interest in mindfulness, creativity and connecting more deeply with herself and others has contributed to a passion for painting portraits. She holds an Associate Diploma in Health Science (Sport & Exercise) and Advanced Diploma in Arts (Mandarin).
